LOS BARRILES FISHING REPORT 7/13, 2020

Los Barriles Fishing Report

Los Barriles fishing report is brought to you by OKUMA FISHING USA. Fishing has been great this last week. Fist, the water cooled a bit due to the winds produce by the hurricane that passed to the West of Cabo. Currently we are seeing 82-84 degree water. It’s a little off color inside but nice and blue about 10 miles off the beach.

BAIT

Ballyhoo is available in front of Palmas de Cortez Hotel and the sardinas are available to the North.

ROOSTERS

The roosters have been biting pretty good as of late with some larger models being caught as well. Fishing is good both South and North.

DORADO

Similarly to the roosters, the dorado have been biting well the past week. Some of the bigger bulls are starting to show up. Fish over 30lbs is a real possibility.

CABRILLA

The Cabrilla bite has been very good lately using heavy jigs and fishing the bottom.

MARLIN

The marlin bite is absolutely hot right now. Several fish per boat is common. The fish are close and on the chew.

TUNA

The tuna bite is on fire last week and has not slowed down. Most fish are between 15-25lbs and are chewing the cedar plug. So early limits of tuna is not uncommon.

To sum it up, the fishing is really, really good right now and we still do not have one reported covid case. Now is a great time to plan a trip to Los Barriles. Please visit us again for your Los Barriles fishing report.

Lastly, if anyone is in the market for chartering a super cruiser, please take a look at my buddy Matt’s 35′ Cabo. She’s all set up and ready to go. Great crew and gear. Check out the El Regalo
